The electric wire will work the best. It is fast and clean. A word of caution though. If you use it for insulation you may want to consider placing sheet rock over it. My neighbor used it in his shop and left it open. One day a hot chunk of slag found its way to the wall and it caught on fire. It spread so fast that there was no way he could put it out. When the fire department showed up they told him that leaving it open is like insulating with gasoline and most people don’t get out because it moves so fast.
