Lo-Boy's lack of power

This might make some collectors cringe,but I recently purchased a Low-Boy model#154 with a 59" woods mower. It has power too spare. The reason for all the power is the fellow that had it before me had taken the old engine out and replaced it with a V.W. diesel 1.6 litre approx. 60 H.P). All in all there were not to many complications by the looks of things. Right now I am putting the finishing touches on it(cleaning up the wireing)etc.
