About 15 years back, four of us were out hunting moose the temp in the high 70's, as we had three moose shot, we had to haul them to meat packer so that they would not spoil. The time was 3 pm, on the trip back out to the foot hills in Alberta, a dark sky was forming to the west and it started to cool down. When we got back into camp at 6 pm it was around 40 above. Next morning we woke up to 6 inches of snow and about -20. Not bad for such a weather change in less than 12 hours. Remember that here in Alberta that if you don't like the weather. wait 5 minutes.
