Hi Jerry, Normally, I would say that you would want to change that tire right away if you were working the tractor a significant amount, but this is a 50 odd year old Fergie. I'm guessing that it never sees more than 100 hours a year. I'd just leave them alone and not worry about it. The rolling circumference of the 11.2x28 is 143". The circumference of the 12.4x28 is 146". There is 2 inches difference in the overall diameter. That info is from the Firestone tire data book. The difference between a new tire and a worn tire is probably more, and lots of people do that, whether or not they should. HTH. Rod
