Do you know how to start a command prompt and run msconfig? That will show you all the junk that gets started automatically. I'm not necessarily one of those that goes OMG! Virus! Sometimes I think people create more problems fighting them than were there in the beginning. I don't have XP here so I can't doublecheck my advice. Sorry about that link being down tonight. Anybody else wanna jump in . go ahead. I'd rather have you follow a well respected link that's documented if it works. I'll try to check a couple others here. Also check www.netsquirrel.com.
