You guys are both right on! It's too bad more people don't understand this. I know that most dyno operators around here don't. Around here we have "300 HP" tractors running around that came from the factory rated at 200-220. Most guys set the dyno scale for rated engine speed and then pull her down until she grunts real hard and they think "WOW, look at all those ponies!". I just shake my head and laugh when they go no faster than anyone else out in the field.
