Had the same thing in my last house. On top of pounding like elephants overhead, they built a nest in one of the walls. As others have suggested, Decon was what did it for me. I found that they were coming in through the garage and were sneaking in at a gap where the drywall didn"t close off as well as could be. I put the Decon up in the rafters in the garage and they brought it inside and killed each other off. I found Decon pellets in my basement where they dropped through a wire access hole in the floor from the nest that they had in the wall above. After getting rid of them I sealed up the garage and that did the trick. Keep refreshing the Decon. It loses it"s punch after a while. It will say on the box.
