gabby: These tractors offered someyhing rather unique in PTO. While it was not independent, it was live PTO by use of a two stage clutch. You push clutch pedal 1/2 way down tractor stops, push it all the way and PTO stops. The unique part was by shifting PTO engage lever opposite way you have ground drive PTO. In some areas guys would build trailers with a powered rear end. Match ratio to tractor and every time you shift gears on tractor PTO changes, thus trailer is geared with it. Makes for quite a versatile little machine.
