Hi Gang; This is the village shop (store) which is typical of thousands located in villages through England, Scotland & Wales. Basically they sell everything from newspapers through groceriers to hardware. It is the Post Office (though for how much longer is a big question here - Government want to close down 1000's of P.O.'s because they are unprofitable! - sound familiar to you guys?). These places are the hub of the countryside life and essentail for people in rural areas. They are being killed off by the "wallmart" type hypermarkets buildt on the edge of every town. Note the traditional red Telephone Box - rare these days, the government changed 99% of them for modern plastic boxes. Cheers David
