Thanks for the advice. Sounds like I have plenty of tractor for a 7 footer, but just need to work it right. To Butcher - your the first one I have run into that also has a 401D. Are you aware of any JD AG tractor equivelant to this tractor? Is the JD 2640A similar (many parts appear to be the same)? Would knowing this help with finding parts? Mine has the foot and hand throttles, power steering, reverser, Hi-Lo transfer case, JD 3/4 yard loader, cab w/ heater, and the 3 point appears to have originally had the draft control but many of the parts for this are now missing. Thanks for the help. Jerry
