my experience has been a Yamaha 750 triple with sidecar would get hot enough to stall at stop signs etc. Changed to Klotz motorcycle synthetic oil had to re adjust the idle speed as it would runaway. turned the idle speed down three times after bike idled at 2000 or above. My exwife after divorce had regular oil installed in her Seca 550 I had to readjust the idle 4 times after that for her each time increasing the speed. Xs1100 with big sidecar only ran Klotz in it from day one over 50000 miles when quit riding with no clutch problems ever. Got started on Klotz after seeing a Z1 torn down with over 160,000 miles on it all highway and no apparant wear. Synthetic has worked good for me in three different bikes, two with sidecars.
