I suppose that if you had paid 5.74 for the spring you wouldn't like it but would accept it. If I were JD or anyone else with that type of operation I'd have to put the cost of sending a 15 dollar an hour man out to retrieve a part that you may have a .74 mark up on somewhere. If you don't want to pay the price you don't have to. As you said you could go to your local hardware store and find it maybe!!! That won't cost anything will it????????
