It may not be so much that the media is to blame, but they are certainly willing accomplices. The real culprits here are judges and trial lawyers who have too much time on their hands. Perhaps its time for society to start bringing frivolous lawsuits against lawyers and let them see what its like to be on the other end. The only thing wrong wth that thinking tho is that it would further clog up the courts, which is a bottleneck of justice as it is. People who have legitimate issues to be heard are either stuck on the 4th page of the docket, or given the brushoff once their case is due to be heard. These are the real victims of the vrivolous lawsuits which choke the legal system today, and those entrusted with our legal system are the culprits.
