In my opinion, any money that I could divert from the "horse fund" to the "tractor fund" is just like money saved.
I'd rather have $10,000 red tractors sitting in the shed than hay-burners standing in the pasture any day.
Since I just came in from thawing out the horse waterer (darn nice weather drove the frost down), I may have a touch of bias in my thoughts.
So don't worry about over spending on a tractor...just consider it as not being able to afford one more horse some day...and that's a positive thing!
