Oliver had 300 88's with independent PTO , in the customers hands , in early 1946. Oliver did not publish the independent PTO until 1948 , when it introduced the fleetline series 66 , 77 , & 88. This statement is from chief engineer at oliver. The Cockshutt 30 was the first tractor tested at Nebraska having independent PTO.
