I have a Ford 3000 equipped with a Du-Al front end loader and a Gresen Valve body Model 2712U that operates the loader. Five days ago, the loader refused to lift and the bucket refused to dump. The loader simply jerks and the engine/pump sounds if it is straining. In fact, the levers appear to operate in reverse order. For instance, usually when you pull back on the boom lever, the loader lifts. Now, when the lever is pulled back, the loader attempts to lower itself. The same situation is true of the bucket lever. The loader appears to behave as if it is in a bind with itsself. One of the hose connections on the valve body appears to be trying to leak fluid even though the hose connector is torqued down. It appears there may be an extreme amount of pressure coming back to this hose. I need help. What has happened?
