Well, thanks everyone for the great comments and thoughts. I just got back from a 2.5 hour trip to the JD dealership to look at the 2030. Unfortunately, he grossly overstated the quality of the tractor. As soon as I got there I saw that there was a large puddle of hydraulic fluid under the engine, not good. Then I grabbed the steering wheel and was able to turn it almost 180 degrees with no response, loose would be an understatement. Then we started it up and was nearly showered with fluid. Not that it matters that much to me, but it had also been left out and was severly rusted. Needless to say, I left not feeling too good about the wasted drive. BUT, because I was down that way anyhow I decided to stop at another dealership and low and behold what do I find...a mint condition JD 1020 with loader, 1200 original hours, kept in the barn all of its life, for around the same money as the 2030! I am going to talk to my finance guy tomorrow!! Thanks, Brian
