Small square bales are actually still a decent percentage of the hay market in the US, or I should say in certain areas of the US. Here in the midwest they are more of a specialty crop and most of the guys doing any volume of them are selling them. We did about 11,000 last year and that's alot for this area but most of them were sold and small square bales still have the widest variety of markets to sell in. Deere, New Holland, Freeman and Hesston all still sell small square balers in the US but I don't know what percentage of the total baler market they represent.
