Ford 85 Hydrostatic Drive

I have a Ford with a 8hp Briggs motor-Hydrostatic Trans. When its cold it works great,after it, warms up it doesn"t have any power for pushing Snow It goes good in Reverse But not Foreward. Also What kind of Fluid goes in these? The only Plug i can find is in the bottom of the Rearend. Is this where you would Drain the System? Any help would be Appreciated. Steve.
