Like you said, I'd have taken the 180 Allis, but the 970 sounds good. One bit of advice, get a manual and follow shifting instructions for the power shift TO THE LETTER. It's easy to unknowingly abuse it and if it goes, you've got a boat anchor with a honkin'big 401. Where we are, and my experiences with them, I would run from any IH. Funny that your 19 doesn't start well. Our 17 starts better than a new car. Thing about a Jubilee, people want them. Should be easy to sell for good coin. Good Luck.
