Info on Serial Number

I am trying to identify the actual year of my 8N tractor. The serial number on the left side of the engine block (as best I can see) is 8N45970. On this model to adjst the timing one must remove the distributor and make the adjustment within the distributor. Any ideas on what year my tractor is? And, am getting ready to sell my old friend. Any comments on the best way to sell in Montana? Best regards, Loren
