Finally settled up my never-married Uncle's estate recently. His 4020 Diesel seemed to have gotten lost in the neighborhood over the years. By using the Sheriff and State's Attorney the estate received $7000 for the tractor and a JD 450 mower from a "neighbor" a few miles away. He claimed my Uncle had given him the 2 items in exchange for taking care of his cows over one winter. Probably the cheapest 4020 I've heard of! (Good lesson here...If you have older relatives without family nearby, don't depend on the "neighbors" to look out for their welfare.)

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
