Depends on a lot of factors, including rainfall and soil fertility. I run 200 (50 lb.) bales per acre in timothy clover mix sometimes. Other people in my area get anywhere between 60 and 200 bales depending on how much fertilizer they use, the organic content of the soil, etc.
