Yes, your 1/2 ton will pull it, but it may be over the legal limits in your area along with several other things. A car hauler will most likely NOT be ok to use. They just aren't made to hold a tractor. Should have a trailer w/ electric brakes at the very least. Donovan from Wisconsin I use my '88 F150 2x4 to haul everything from 14' hydra-swing haybines to 7 tons of hay from the auction. I never go more than 25 though. I need a bigger truck but it just isn't in the budget.
