We've got three or four of them in pile of pieces in our "Cletrac graveyard." Noticed a few minor differences in some of the parts when swapping with Cletrac HG or OC3 crawlers. All the engines are Herules IXB-3s. For some reason, the PTO gears are diffent. They swap okay as a set, though. Anyway, here is blurb about the B.F. Avery from one of Wendel's books: "Beginning about 1942, B.F. Avery offered their "A" tractor; it was a dead-ringer for the Cletrac General GG tractor. About 1945 the company again announced their Model V tractor, a small one-plow tractor. Early models used a Hercules IXB-3 four cylinder engine with a 3 1/4 X 4 inch bore and stroke. Later models carried a Hercules 3" X 4" engine. Production ended with the Model R, announced in 1950. It used a Hercules four cylinder 133 c.i. engine, and also featured the Avery Tru-Draft hitch system. Minneapolis-Moline bought out B.F. Avery in 1951."
