Well Mark, it's clear that you know what you're looking for and why. I hate to say it, but you're probably stuck with recomendations from your Deere dealer. Personally, I hate dealing with dealers other than parts because they've got an inventory that they have to contend with, and sell, and make a profit, because no one likes working for free - me neither. Maybe they've got some trade-ins? Maybe a local farmer too? And you're absolutely right, a big tractor can do small jobs, but a small tractor can't do big ones. If I were you, I'd pretty much take your reply to my post over to the Deere board and ask. Also, is another site linked through here somehow, that I can't find through here, but can get under "www.todaystractors.com" - is a sister site to this one. I was there once a week or so ago. Give it a shot. Mark
