We have the smaller brother to the 2010, a John Deere 1010 gas. They definatly don't preform up to the 20 series standards (we also have a 1020). I have heard that the gas versions tend to run a little better. While they may not be the best tractors John Deere made, we like the little 1010. Just think, if your 2010 is still running good after 40+ years it can't be all that bad.
