txblu how can u say mom and pop stores are only for mom and pop, not the consumer...when its was the mom and pop stores that gave the best customer service....walking into a place with the same face someone who knows you by name always dealing with the owners and they always tried to help people nothing gets me angrier than when u go to a walmart- type store and the person you ask a question to doesnt speak english. or you get the other types who you can tell hate there job and dont give rats behind. i think america could compete but you get corporate greed, lawyers who sue for anything, and most americans want to make 50 dollars an hour and work 10 hours a week instead of like years ago when people actually worked hard instead of trying to make the world a perfect place which will never happen take the good with the bad china and japan didnt build america americans did

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
