Plant two cedar posts in the ground with another, thick one well secured across the top. Use a come-along winch to raise the arms of the loader up into position beneath the horizontal post. Chain them there. Spend several hours wiggling the tractor and the loader arms around in relation to each other until you get the pins in. Be sure to keep a redundant chain around the rig so that it doesn't get away and crush you. Keep assembling. Expect an occasional bath of hydraulic fluid. Hope everything works. The trouble with hydraulics is that you can't tell if there is any pressure or not. When I got my dad's loader onto his old Ferguson TEA20 I discovered why it had been removed. The hydraulic pump didn't work well enough to drive it. Moving a tractor around when it has a loader half-assembled on it is a low-quality experience, best avoided. After I lifted the bucket with a hydraulic jack I held it in place with a 38" piece of hardwood wedged between the bucket and the front bumper. This made for a white-knuckled drive two miles to the mechanic's shop. My friend gave up on the Fergie and installed the loader, with three new cylinders, on my MF35. Excellent installation, but expensive.
