Try using "RONSON" lighter fluid. I use it on all types of decals and stickers with great success. But this brand of lighter fluid is the only type that will work, use on decals on metal, plastic, fiberglass, glass windows, bottom label on that pretty candle jar mom wants to save... caution, apply lightly and let soak, wipe with soapy cloth, not to briskly, avoid igintion! Might have to do two or more soaks. Can anyone tell me WHY do they wrap a price sticker on a copper fitting, like an elbow or collar with Scotch tape??? Do they not realize one has to spend great amounts of time to peel them off (can"t find the start end) and then wipe glue off (RONSON"S) then start soldering, sheesh!
