What ever you do, make certain that charger isn't ruining the batteries with too high voltage and current when they are charged. http://www.batcap.net/Indexnew5.htm This is where "battery " power is likely headed for the next several years unless somebody makes a "Star Trek" power cell. No lead or acid to worry about. Light weight and can be discharged flat for safety when performing work on the system. These things recharge far faster than a lead-acid battery. Energy isn't wasted as heat, changing plate composition and bubbling electrolyte into hydrogen and oxygen. These were developed for hybrid vehicles. US armed forces are tossing the lead acid starting batteries in standby gas turbine generators and are using these. No matter who makes the battery or how. A lead acid battery's life is shortened by over charging, high temperatures, deep cycling or being left sitting discharged.
