What kind of "disk" are you talking about? Offse? Tandem? Tillage? Finish? Blade size? I have a 3 pt 8' tandem disk that pulls so easy, I cant tell whether it is up or down. I have a 7.5' offset disk with remote cylinder, that works my 67 HP tractor to death. With heavy pull-type offset disk, with 22 to 24 inch blades on 9 inch spacings, in our local soils, you need 10 PTO HP per foot of width to pull it right. With much less HP, you will have to constantly pull it with the wheels partly down to "assist" in keeping it partly out of the ground.
