Guys, Allan, With Natural Gas @ the $7.00/K mark there will be less corn produced it he high plains. I have visited with sure-enough good Farmars those who have been produceing 220+ bu Corn. Who have cut their unnessary expenditures totally out, and necessary ones to the bare essentials. Thes guys are looking at other opitions to produce their summer crops. IE... Cotton, Sunfloweres, Milo Any thing that will produce a crop with the 6ft of soil moisture they have retained throuth the winter & maybe 2 or 3 waterings. One fellow in the Okla strip made 240 dry corn and still didn't break even!!! This won't fly for long. So beware All. Later, John A.
