This was my first tractor but it was a mistake. The thing that hooked me was that the gas motor always started. put in battery start motor just that simple i swear. no alternater. Heres the deal take one 300 utlitily tractor fix it up with about a thousand dollars. All new valves at the backhoe. one new piston on backhoe. One 23 gallon hydralic pupm. Install oversize hydralic pump, go to work, rip things apart. clutch burnt out and thats all she wrote. So I bought the thing so i didnt have to repair it. I'll be honest, you guys tell me what you think and please dont worry, you wont hurt my fellings. I rebuilt the steering box. but the front wheels dont line up some parts are bent. but probably could be adjusted out to paralell. As i said the clutch is burnt up. one piston that swivels the backhoe is overextended because of a major weld breakdown,(backhoe about fell off)currently tied up with a comealong.i believe piston can be put back together. but im not sure. I am looking for ideas or honest opinions if I dont get good response I am gonna part it out and sell it on e-bay and other forums. I am told this backhoe came on this tractor but im suspius. I can get digital photos in about a week or two. I also have a copied version of the origanal manual in a binder. winner
