Im the John Deere King I bought one 3 days ago for $11,000 w/ 5000 Hours But when there over 10000 hours they decrease to about $8000 so It depends on the hours and shape, and condition & if its a diesel makes a Huge Difference which Im willing to bet that your is. because Ive never seen a gas 4230. SO hopefully that answers your questain.
