Mike from KS, Thanks, but no that won't help. These are for SAE-8 (3/4" x 16tpi) ports. They have to have a 3/4" hole through the banjo head. Square is not a problem, and an O-ring seat would be great. I've even thought about getting a hose fitting and drilling out the hose barb to braze on tubing (some have a large diameter boss at the banjo body that could be drilled out). But regardless, a 5/8" hole isn't going to help. It was suggested to me that older vintage tractors might have used these fittings more, and that seemed like worth a shot, but maybe not... Thanks much!
