Thanks for the info Don. I was talking rear rims, the narrow rims for 15.5x34's are easier to find, but I would rather stay with the 18.4x34's on the tractor. I did know they changed the rims at one point, but hadn't ever seen the newer ones, guess I have now. I hadn't ever heard that the rims from the JD's and Cases would bolt up, I had always heard the W9 was a pretty unique rim. If that is the case, then the one I found for $50 that the guy said would fit may very well. Probably worth the $50 to check it out rather than the $200 for a "correct" rim. Little background, this tractor was Dad's has a nice dozer set up on it, was always lightly used (pushing dirt around stock tanks, rebuilding terraces...) and I always loved the look of it. I will scan a picture when I get a chance and post it. Anyway, Dad grew up driving W9's and WD9's in NW Kansas, and now that he is gone, I'm not going to let the tractor sit and die. Has one rusted rim, rotted rear tires, and needs a tune up and I will have it back to light duty work. Maybe restore at some point, but for now just keep it from dieing a slow death and use it on my driveway...his MD with F10 is still is use, so I'm not so worried about it. Besides, the W series are a little unusual here, see lots of M's and H's, but I only know of a few other W's in the area.

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
