I totally eliminated JD's remotes from my 2640. They leaked ALOT and I had replaced the o-rings a couple times- still didn't help. I got some aftermarket hoses and remotes from TSC and a couple fittings from Northern and now I have a much simpler system and no leaks. Even still have the break away protection. Let me know if you need a picture or further help.
