Nah..that doesn't happen..if it did, all the water in the Great Lakes would back up and flood the heck out of everything. The Falls do get ice coated but they never freeze...there will be an ice bridge most years but all that is is the lake ice flowing down the river over the falls and jamming up in the bottom pool.. How do I know...I live 4 miles up river from the Falls.
