Tim: I had one of those cabs on my 656. Mine came from a early production 1066. An IH dealer had sold a dozen 1066s to a road dept, all equiped with ROPS cab ans front mount snow blower. They got shipped in with wrong cab, thus IH had to change them. I bought mine complete for $500. It makes a nice looking unit on 656. I had to fabricate four mounts. Two to clamp on each axle carrier, and two made from 3x3x3/8 angle coming back from clutch housing. At the time, I could see this cab was going to create problems servicing batteries, so I built two battery boxes mounted on engine frame rails just ahead of my front cab supports. This allowed me to install much heavier batteries. Closing in the floor and around hood were quite easy. The big problem and I never did do this would have been closing in the bottom rear around 3 point hitch. I was quite happy I was doing early spring planting and late fall work out of close to freezing temps. I did have the heater hooked up. Mid summer I used to take doors off and back window out. Those first old cabs weren't dust proof very long, so best in dusty seasons to just let good air flow deal with it.

I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
