What functions do you intend for the tractor to perform? Just remember that this is an older tractor that doesn't have modern more convenient features such as the live hydraulics and live PTO. If you don't need a modern workhorse then by all means a Ford purchase will leave you with a wonderful little FUN machine. If you will ever want to operate a roto-tiller, install a loader, or need front wheel assist, I'd opt for a later but albeit more expensive tractor.
