I had a 2 cyl 71 series detroit in a hd5 allis dozer. It did'nt scream like a detroit is supposed to sound like because it only has two cyls. A good strong engine though. It'd spin the tracks in second gear on a 13000# dozer.I don't know if they were used in any tractors.
