It seems like no matter where you go you hear about this kind of mess happening, and even though we hear so much about it nowdays it's been going on for years. Funny thing the culprit can just as easily be the "honest" guy next door you've known for years as it it can a "drug crazed homless maniac" that just wandered into town. I had an Uncle that years ago was having his gas tank siphoned nearly dry at night. After it happened a few times, enough so the culprit got confident, he drained it and filled it half way with diesel. Next morning he was outside when one of the neighbors went to start his car. Guess who's tank the fuel had gone into... the last person he would have ever have thought of.... Nothing was ever said about what happened but there was never any more gas stolen out of his tank. I know of another outfit out in the boonies that has been having diesel stolen from their portable tank here lately. Now it's full of water with just enough fuel on top to make it look good. Their just waiting to find the guys truck stuck half way back to the gate....There are alot of sorry people in this world and it's never gonna get any better til the government gets off their collective a-- and starts prosecuting true criminals instead of treating the criminals like the victims. Just my .02
