Farmall C Throw out bearing

Help ! own a Farmall C. I had the engin rebuilt on my C, the engin builder put on a new presure plate & disc. also incuded the new throw out bearing, my old bearing has a small carbon face, the new bearing is the new style will not fit the old style cradel, rebuilder says find new style cradel. any info on this would. Thanks Richard
