When I was going to Tech School, we had to watch a movie about a man losing his vision when a grinding wheel exploded... That movie was very graphic, but it made a lasting impression. I am used to wearing them, they are sort of like a seatbelt, you feel a lot safer with them on... I am constantly having to tell visitors & customers they must wear glasses if they come in the shop. They always Say " Oh I won't get anything in my eyes"... Famous last words....... I tell them that it is there vision, but if they want to lose it,it is their business, but not at our shop.... On the same subject, I always wear safety shoes. I broke a toe years ago , when a small block of steel fell of a table, & I never want that to happen again. Amazing how bad a little toe can hurt !!!
