Ive done the tanks on my Power King, and my 64 GTO and never had any problems, but thats not to say anything is possible. Ive heard of guys that repair gas tanks by welding rust holes shut fill them up with water to displace the gas fumes. Just a thought, I personally wouldn't get a welder near one of these though.
