JD TWO CYL. TRACTOR AUCTION RESULTS

I WENT TO A FARM AUCTION IN CENTRAL OKLA. TODAY AND THIS FAMILY HAD 2 JD 830'S, AND 4 JD R'S. THIS FAMILY FARMED WITH THESE TRACTORS A FEW YEARS AGO. THEY PULL STARTED ALL THESE TRACTORS FOR THE STARTING ENGINES DID NOT RUN.THE SHEET METAL, PAINT, AND RUBBER WAS VERY GOOD ON ALL THESE TRACTORS.THE PRICES ARE: 1959 830 SE, PTO, SGL. HYD, VERY NICE LOOKING WITH LIKE NEW TIRES, STARTING ENGINE DID NOT RUN, 6000.00. 1959 830 ES, NO PTO, SGL HYD. NEW TIRES, SAID TO BE OVERHAULED, BUT IT SPIT OIL ALL OVER IT WHEN STARTED, 5000.00. 1949 THROUGH 1953 JD R'S , STARTING ENGINES DID NOT RUN ON THESE, GOOD TO VERY GOOD SHEET METAL, TIRES ARE GOOD TO EXCELLENT, PTO , 2600.00 TO 3000.00 I BID 5900.00 ON THE 830 SE AND WOULD HAVE BID UP TO 6500.00 IF I COULD START THE TRACTOR FROM THE STARTING ENGINE. NONE OF THESE TRACTORS HAD BATTERYSIN THEM.
