I"m not sure I understand your comment that YOU are working for MY life of luxury. Name one thing I said in response to your post that would suggest that I think only of myself, and not for the betterment of us all. There is enough potential wealth in this world to make us all rich. Yes, I said all of us. There is not a stationary amount of dollars in the world to be distributed equally or even unequally. That happens only in a Socialistic altruistic society. But the problem is that nobody but an elite few ever enjoy great wealth. The rest of us enjoy only shared misery. Taking wealth from a rich man does not necessarily make a poor man rich. More often than not, it only makes both equally miserable. Quite frankly, while I will concede that the price of fuel has risen substantially in the past year or so, the fact is that it takes less percentage of our paycheck to fill our gas tanks today with gasolene than it did 40 years ago. Believe it or not, gasolene is still a bargain in this country, compared to what the rest of the world pays. And yes, they pay us for energy as well as they pay the Arabs, as we are an exporter of fuel. A couple months back, I was waiting to pay for gas ($1.89 per gal) and the guy ahead of me was railing unmercifully on the poor $5.00 per hour clerk behind the counter about the ridiculous price of gas ($1.89 per gal at that time) as if she had any thing to do with the price to begin with. All the time he was lambasting her, he was spping water from a 16 0z bottle of water he was about to pay 99 cents for. Lets see, that would make that water cost $7.96 per gal. He was also scratching $10.00 worth of instant lotto tickets of which he won nary a dime. In addition to all that, he bought 2 packs of cigarettes at the tune of $4.98 per pack. Now you tell me, who was screwing the man over, the tobacco company, the water company, the lottery commission, the state because of the amount of tax he paid for during the entire transaction or the oil company? I think that the oil company gave him far more for his money than did any of the others. and folks keep wanting the government to do something about the price of gas.........These are the same people who have taxed you to death. You and I pay more in taxes for gasolene than we did for the whole gallon of gas 30 years ago. Yeah, lets let the government fix it. Lets write our elected officials and demand that they do their job.......Yeah, right.....Havent they done too much already?

Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed. Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
