Hi old, The newer MH axles are supposed to have a low mileage non-replacable bearing installed but I haven't seen one to verifiy. The old style axles have the replaceable bearing and related componets and can be a 6k axle with 2"x12" brakes. You can also buy DOT approved 14.5 tires, expensive tho. After owning a 28ft flatbed for 25yrs with MH axles, I would spend the money on Dexter axles for a OTR trailer. Save the MH alxes for the ranch. I've probably only have 25k OTR miles on the MH alxes and I had to repair them at least twice a year to get that. I busted a spring the last time out and just parked the trailer as I'm tired of repairing it. T_Bone
