Right about gas being cheap... When I was a kid, regular gas was 29.9 cents, but my Dad was making a little over a dollar an hour... do the math... A 16 oz. bottle of water costs a dollar at the convenience store. That equates to $8.00/gallon for water. & you walk past a water fountain on the way to the cooler.
Since fuel has gone up, I do make an effort to consolidate trips & cut down on unneccesary driving. We just got spoiled by cheap gas in the past...
